Tapia 2024 Call for Participation & Scholarship Applications

The goal of the Tapia Conference is to bring together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, and professionals in computing from all backgrounds and ethnicities to:
- Celebrate the diversity that exists in computing
- Connect with others with common backgrounds, ethnicities, disabilities, and gender to create communities that extend beyond the conference
- Engage with computing leaders in academia, industry, and government labs
- Be inspired by great presentations and conversations with leaders with common backgrounds
Applicationis for scholarships and participation in the 2024 Tapia conference are open through Feb. 26.
Covers topics such as entrepreneurship, effective communication, networking, career paths, mentoring networks, and academic topics pertaining to undergraduate and graduate students.
Student Posters/ACM Student Research Competition (SRC): Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to present their latest research results and methodologies
Doctoral Consortium: Ph.D. candidates have the opportunity to present and discuss their research with a panel of established researchers
Scholarships: Students and post-docs at institutions in the U.S. or U.S. Territories and faculty at Minority Serving Institutions are welcome to apply
