Troy Tazbaz Tazbaz leads the Digital Health Center of Excellence unit at FDA, responsible for enabling digital therapeutics and technologies that contribute to the ongoing modernization of health care in the United States. The DHCoE within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) is responsible for envisioning and enabling a future of safe and effective healthcare delivery with a focus on advancing public health goals with the use of technology. They enable that vision through technology evaluation, clinical integration strategies, policy development, and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining FDA, he was at Oracle for 11 years, holding a variety of technical and business responsibilities in building and scaling the cloud business. He concluded his time at Oracle as senior vice president of industry business unit strategy & operations, part of the leadership team responsible for driving Oracle’s cloud transformation across all parts of its business, process, technology, and people development. He is passionate about bringing an innovative mindset that combines creative and analytical thinking at driving business strategies to outcomes that ultimately result in customer success.

Tazbaz received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration from San Diego State University.
